Visual Artist & Community Art Practitioner 

This exhibition celebrates the vibrant work and creative journeys of Collective Resonance, a collaborative project between the Iranian community and Govanhill Baths Community Trust, supported by Creative Communities.

Through artistic expressions including sculptures, prints, etchings, music, and collages, the group explores themes of identity, belonging, freedom, and hope. These pieces were created between February and June 2024, led by local artists.

The group experimented with various mediums to delve into personal and shared stories, cultural imaginations, and the concept of home. These works reflect the diverse experiences of the Iranian diaspora, aiming to raise awareness about what it means to be visible and represented in Scotland’s cultural landscape.

This exhibition invites you to immerse yourself in these stories, value the role of creativity, encourage dialogue, and celebrate the diversity of cultural heritages within our communities.
